Caitlin Horrocks is writer #7 to participate in the Ultimate Writing Desk Search. If you would like to participate and share your own space, find the instructions here. (There’s still time!)

Here’s what Caitlin says about her desk:

“I wish I could say I wrote here all the time, but I actually do a lot of work at the dining room table. Or the coffee table, which is an ergonomic disaster. I sit on the couch and lean towards the computer in a way that’s going to make me a hunchback with carpal tunnel by the time I’m fifty. But when I’m feeling virtuous, and have made the firm decision to get away from the television, I write here. The furniture is just thrift store and particleboard, but the room is on the second floor of a house at the top of a hill, and I love being able to look out into the tree tops. It’s like a tree house. For lame people who stay inside and work.”
